We were born in war. We lives in war and we will die in war. This is the Middle East. Where colonialism destroys peace and life.
On the morning of June 13, 2025, the Zionist regime attacked this country, claiming to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and bombed various points, including missile facilities, military bases, and residential areas of Iran. In this twelve-day war, nuclear scientists, political and military figures were assassinated by Israel throughout the country. Israel's goal in this war was to destroy Iran's nuclear and missile programs, change the country's political structure, and reduce regional threats. On the tenth day of the war, the US military bombed the nuclear facilities of Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan in support of Israel's invasion of Iranian territory. After that, Iran inflicted heavy damage on Israel with its missile attacks in Operation Fatah, which led to a ceasefire between the two countries on June 24 2025. During these attacks, about 1,070 Iranian people were killed and 5,750 were injured. Of these, about 700 were civilians, 126 of whom were women and 47 were children. In this twelve-day war, about 8,200 residential units were damaged and about 400 houses were completely destroyed.
This project is about the days after the war and the people who lost their lives in the war. From the flight attendant whose dream was to see the beauties of the world to the soldier who called himself the son of Iran, to the young bride who had just returned home, to the parents who were waiting for the birth of their baby, to the kindergarten director who, after a long time, was able to open his first kindergarten through a partnership. These people lost their lives and their families and their dreams during the twelve days of the Iran-Israel war while under the most severe economic sanctions of the United States. When will the scars of this war be forgotten? Maybe When the war is over.
