Iran is among the ten countries in the world for high-risk natural disasters . Earthquake and flood are the most important disasters that affect the lives of millions of Iranians every year. This collection of portraits has been photographed from the two recent floods in Iran in 2016 and 2019. From the people who lost their whole lives in the flood. Most of these people are farmers and fishermen or from the weak and middle classes of Iran whose Economic shock Crises such as floods has severely damaged their lives for a long time.
Despite the sanctions and economic pressure that have affected the lives of Iranians for years, how long will it take for their lives to be rebuilt again ? This is the question I always look for in crisis photography.
